Tales of Bangalore!!
This is not exactly a tale of bangalore,,,, but a tale about my experiences at b'lore.
I have come from cuttack, a city in ORISSA. It is called the Silver City due to its silver filgree work. But, moreover it is a city with a heart. A city flanked by two major rivers, flowing endlessly n eternally. The city full of natural scenaries, yummy eatables, spiritual temples and moreover the city where my family live espescially my "mama". God, i haven't seen 'her' for 7 months. Previously I used to fight and quarrel with her a lot but now i miss her dearly.
When I came to b'lore on Dec 1st 2004. I was awe struck on seeing the Intel building,Diamond District. I thought man,,,this is my destination!!. Then the MG road , Brigade road, BloreCentral, Forum all struck high cords in me. But, internally i was a nature boy, I loved trees, rivers and scenic beauties. I started feelin nostalgic about my place. I started missing my river side "KHATTI", My friend circle, innocent but heartening. I felt blore had nothing in it thats called a natural beauty.
My ideas proved wrong,,,
May be i hadn't seen the other side of b'lore.
Once I happened to walk by the streets of indiranagar II phase one hot after noon. And guess what happened, I started feeling cold. I looked around to see ,, the whole place filled with dense trees. All forming a canopy,, a canopy enough to hold back the hard rays of sun. I felt happy to see trees around me. I looked around to find the entire strech filled with trees on both sides. I said to myself " Yes,This is a city in the lap of nature". May be this is what is called "BANGALORE"
The streets of malleswaram, BTM, Mekhri circle and the streets near IISC., reminds me of LONDON streets,(as seen on TV). I felt i had arrived to a different planet.
Away from the dusty streets, traffic jammed roads, and high buildings. In to the lap of nature. These green patches always rejuvnate and makes me live life. I don't know why?,, but, It happens so!!
Even sometimes a walk from Kodhihalli to Kemp fort along the concrete pavement in evening is worth a lifetime experience. Provided u r withsomeone special, or atleast someone who understands u.
Really B'lore is heartening and happenening. It has everything for everyone, but u need to find it out.
But,,I still miss my place. hope i get to visit it soon!!!
